The eighteenth-century villa in Cazzago S. Martino, with its rooms rich in classical décor, rises on the hill of Santa Giulia, near the family church of the same name (where the bodies of the Cazzago ancestors rest) and embraces a late medieval nucleus of the seventeenth century.
The vineyards laid out on the freelying rich lands of the circular hillside formation more external than the morainic amphitheatre of the lake Iseo, where, in Roman times, a “hostellus” rose, witnessed by archaeological findings, from where the name “Tetellus” comes; both the nature of the land and the special microclimate are extremely favourable for the production of high quality wines. With Chardonnay and Pinot Franciacorta Brut is produced, with pure Chardonnay Franciacorta Satèn is produced. The selection “Tetellus” is obtained from the grapes picked in the best parts of their vineyards. |
